The grand thefts were reported to deputies from September 16 to September 18. The first grand theft was reported in the 800 block of East Sacramento Street around 4 p.m. September 16. The catalytic converter was taken from a 2006 Toyota Prius. The following day, two catalytic converter thefts were reported. One from a 2004 Prius at 3:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Atchison Street. The second was reported at 9 p.m. in the 400 block of Alberta Street from a 2005 Prius, according to the Altadena Sheriff’s Station. September 18, a catalytic converter was reported stolen from a 2007 Prius in the 100 block of East Woodbury Road around 2 a.m. No suspect descriptions were available. DeJuan Ali Rhodes left his group home, Hathaway Sycamores Child and Family Services, 2933 El Nido Dr., September 18 around 9:30 p.m. Rhodes is diabetic, insulin dependent and needs additional medication, Altadena deputies said. Rhodes is a Black teen, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 138 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue shorts. Anyone with information on Rhodes’ whereabouts is urged to call the Altadena Sheriff’s Station at 626-798-1131 and speak to Sgt. Paul Parkhurst or Detective Remberto Candelario. |
