The two suspects approached their victim, a Latino man in his 30s, as he walked on Michillinda Avenue south of Colorado Boulevard in unincorporated Pasadena October 6 just after 5:30 p.m. The suspects beat the victim, knocked him unconscious and stuffed him into the back seat of their silver 2008 Infiniti G35, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The suspects, both described as Latino men in their 20s, took the victim south on Michillinda Avenue. The Infiniti G35 featured license plate 6FMY326. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor EAST PASADENA – Detectives are searching for three suspects who robbed a marijuana dispensary Wednesday night.
The robbery was reported around 7:35 p.m. at Pasadena Herbal Club, 259 S. Rosemead Blvd., September 29. Money and a handgun was reportedly stolen, according to Lt. Paul Shigo of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. Shigo did not have information on the amount of money taken, but in a Sheriff’s crime broadcast it was initially believed to be $4,000. The weapon was described as a 9mm Beretta. One of the reports the Sheriff’s department received before being dispatched indicated there was yelling heard inside Pasadena Herbal Club, in addition to the sound of crashing glass. Someone inside the business mentioned a weapon, according to the crime broadcast. A black vehicle was seen fleeing south on Rosemead Boulevard and west on Mountain View Avenue, Shigo told SGV CityWatch. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor EAST PASADENA - A suspect accused of burglarizing two homes in unincorporated Pasadena was shot by a homeowner as the suspect was entering a residence Wednesday. The suspect is in stable condition. He was shot by the homeowner after being warned the homeowner was armed, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call from a woman who reported a home burglary in progress. The suspect reportedly took property from the home after being warned to leave.
The suspect fled to a second home on Grayburn Road west of Rosemead Boulevard where he was confronted by a man inside the residence. The resident warned the suspect about being armed, but the suspect refused to listen and the homeowner shot him. Both residents were unharmed. The robbery occurred in the 2100 block of Rose Villa Street around 6:10 p.m. January 14. The suspects stole a black key to a Honda fit. The two suspects fled eastbound Rose Villa Street on foot, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. One suspect is a Hispanic man. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs 250 pounds. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The second suspect is a Hispanic man. He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 230 pounds and he wore a black sweatshirt and black pants. Written by AARON CASTREJON | CityWatch Editor EAST PASADENA - A suspicious man inside a CVS Pharmacy fled, initiating a neighborhood search by deputies Wednesday night.
The man was seen inside the CVS Pharmacy, 3033 Huntington Dr. roughly around 9:37 p.m. Employees believed the suspect intended to burglarize the pharmacy, said Lt. Terrance Bell of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. A helicopter aided a search, consisting of deputies and San Marino Police officers. It was initially feared the suspect was connected to the string of Trader Joe’s robberies plaguing the area -- Trader Joe’s is located in the same property as CVS, Bell said.
