The birds were stolen from Hacienda aquatics, 1075 N. Hacienda Blvd. around 5:30 p.m. Monday, October 30. During an initial broadcast, one suspect was reportedly being held down during the crime. It is unknown if that suspect was part of the trio that escaped with the birds, or is a fourth suspect who might be possibly detained. One suspect is a Latino man, 25 years old, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall. He wore a black Nike jacket and black pants. Deputies were unable to obtain descriptions for the two other suspects. The suspects fled southbound on Hacienda Boulevard toward Amar Road in a blue 4-door Toyota sedan. The robbery reportedly occurred around 9:50 p.m. July 7 at Third Street and Main Street, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s crime broadcast. Both suspects lead northbound on third Street and out of view. One suspect was described as a Latino male and a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. The second suspect was described as a Latino male and a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. The robbery was reported just before 5 p.m. at the Metro PCS, 14535 Temple Ave. At least one suspect simulated a handgun during the robbery and forced an employee to the rear of the store, according to Sgt. Magdaleno of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. No injuries were reported. The suspects fled southbound on Clintwood Avenue on foot. They were only described as Black males wearing masks and dressed in all black. The employee tried to intervene and stop the accused robber from taking the mug from the business, 209 S. Hacienda Blvd., around 5:30 a.m. The suspect then ran from the business, according Lt. Torres of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The suspect was found a short distance away and arrested. She was booked on suspicion of robbery, Torres told SGV CityWatch. The robbery took place at a liquor store in the 800 block of North Sunset Avenue. The 9-1-1 call was made at 7:56 p.m. October 13. The suspect armed with a handgun took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Lt. James Long of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The suspect is a male, 20 to 25 years old. He was described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, is light skinned and wore all black clothing, including a black hooded sweatshirt and ski mask, Long said. The amount of cash taken was undisclosed. Two men robbed the AT&T Store, 1200 N. Hacienda Ave., after 10 a.m. July 6. There were no weapons seen during the robbery, according to Lt. Rick Rector of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
Deputies searching for the suspects located their vehicle on Azusa Avenue south of the I-10 freeway. The vehicle did not stop and a brief chase was initiated to the freeway until the suspects lost deputies around Vincent Avenue on the westbound I-10, Rector said. Rector did not immediately have suspect descriptions or a description of the vehicle. A victim was robbed of cash near East Giordano Street and North California Avenue around 11:20 a.m. May 17. The suspect used force to take cash from the victim, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black shorts. The suspect fled east on Giordano Avenue and north on Sandy Hook Avenue. The robbery occurred at North Orange Avenue and Amar Road around 10:50 p.m. May 7. Both suspects fled southbound Orange Avenue from Amar Road in a black sedan with blue paper plates, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.

The robbery occurred in the area of Wintonwood Lane and North Winton Avenue some time before 11:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The suspects fled in a black, four-door, older model car. The first suspect is a Hispanic man, 5-foot-6 to 5 feet 8 inches tall, in a white t-shirt, khaki pants and a thin build. The second suspect is a Hispanic man, 5-foot-8 to 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a thin build and wore black pants and a white shirt. The female suspect attempted to rob a beauty salon at gunpoint. The salon employees were able to close the front doors and keep her from getting it, but she then tried to carjack someone nearby, said Lt. Hugo Reynaga of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The woman is accused of trying to rob Sally’s Beauty, 1835 N. Hacienda Blvd., just after 8 p.m. Reynaga did not immediately know if the gun was real, or an airsoft replica. The suspect sustained unknown injuries and is hospitalized, Reynaga said. No one else was injured in the incidents. |
