The victim, only described as an Asian male in his early or mid 50s, was found with abrasions to his upper torso, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. “Investigators learned the victim was involved in a physical altercation with another male and had been pushed down to the ground during the incident. The male suspect was last seen north on Muscatel Avenue and out of view,” according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in a written statement. Moises Rivera Luna, 31, allegedly slammed into a disabled vehicle on the eastbound I-10 freeway west of Walnut Grove Avenue, forcing the disabled vehicle into the path of an SUV. The driver of the disabled vehicle died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. Killed was 31-year-old Miguel Armando Garcia from Los Angeles. The driver in the SUV was uninjured, but his passenger was hospitalized with moderate injuries. |
