Investigators revealed that a suspect was arrested and a weapon was recovered, but have not revealed the suspect’s name, or a possible motive. The shooting took place around 11:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Sierra Leone Avenue. Deputies responded to multiple calls of a gunshot victim. Deputies found two victims, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. “One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second male Hispanic adult victim was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition,” according to the Sheriff’s Department in a written statement. ROWLAND HEIGHTS - Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man found early Sunday in Rowland Heights. The shooting took place in the area of Colima Road and Fullerton Rd., April 11. First responders were dispatched around 2:39 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. Walnut/Diamond Bar deputies responded to a home in the 18000 block of Villa Clara Street at 7:50 p.m. February 24 and found both victims. Los Angeles County firefighter paramedics declared both victims dead, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. Coroner examiners will determine cause of death. The woman’s body was discovered around 12:30 p.m. underneath the eastbound off ramp to Fullerton Road. Deputies responding to a person down call eventually declared the woman dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau. THe woman appeared to have suffered trauma to the upper torso. The cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
