Written by AARON CASTREJON | CityWatch Editor SAN GABRIEL - A woman is recovering from a non-life-threatening injury Monday, after having been shot by her husband who thought she was an intruder.
The shooting was reported at 2:13 a.m. in the 5500 block of Walnut Grove Avenue Monday. Deputies learned after they arrived that the husband accidentally fired on his wife, said Lt. Marsha Williams of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Temple Station. The husband is detained as deputies continue to investigate, Williams said. Written by AARON CASTREJON | CityWatch Editor NORTH SAN GABRIEL - An 80-year-old man is behind bars tonight, accused of critically wounding his wife and son in a domestic fight Sunday.
Adrian Ness is being held in lieu of $2 million bail after shooting his son and wife in the 6300 block of Muscatel Avenue in North San Gabriel around 1:45 p.m. Ness was booked at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station and was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, deputies said. A motive for the shooting remains unknown. Deputies responding to a reported gunshot victim encounter Ness and detained him. The son was found soon after. The wife was found possibly in a second location, according to Sheriff’s radio traffic. Both son and wife were hospitalized and underwent surgery, deputies said. |
