CityWatch Editor ALHAMBRA - An attempted murder suspect was arrested in Los Angeles March 25, accused of stabbing his girlfriend and taking refuge in an apartment unit. Angel Gandara fled after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend Wednesday afternoon. Detectives located Gandara in a Los Angeles apartment complex. After refusing to surrender for several hours, Alhambra Police SWAT officers took him into custody, according to the Alhambra Police Department. Officers were first called around 3 p.m. to the 500 block of South Chapel Avenue. Officers found a woman with at least one stab wound. She was hospitalized and last listed in stable condition, according to the Alhambra Police Department. CityWatch Editor ALHAMBRA - A man was caught on surveillance camera tagging a Redbox machine recently. The vandalism occurred at a 7-Eleven, 601 S. Fremont Ave. After tagging the Redbox machine, the suspect also allegedly took a whiz there as well, according to the Alhambra Police Department. The suspect is a Latino man approximately in his mid-40s, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, appears to weigh 165 pounds and wore a red baseball cap, dark sweater and gray sweatpants.
