CityWatch Editor ALHAMBRA - Police announced the arrest of a suspect who is accused of stabbing someone January 6. The suspect was identified within hours of the stabbing, but wasn’t found until January 28 in the City of Glendale, according to the Alhambra Police Department. With the assistance of Glendale Police, Eriberto Paiz, 56, from Los Angeles, was taken into custody. A stabbing occurred near Atlantic Boulevard and Spruce Street January 6. The suspect fled prior to officers' arrival. A nearby school was placed on lockdown as a precaution, according to the Alhambra Police Department. The victim was hospitalized in stable condition after the stabbing, but information on their current condition is not immediately known.
