BALDWIN PARK - A driver whose vehicle got a little too close to the railroad tracks was uninjured after a passenger train hit her vehicle Monday night.
The collision occurred on Francisquito Avenue on the railroad tracks near Paddy Lane just before 9:30 p.m. October 7. The driver’s vehicle sustained minor to moderate damage, according to Sgt. Andrew Velebil of the Baldwin Park Police Department.
The train took off the front bumper as it passed by.
The driver was still in the vehicle when the train hit, Velebil said.
