Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor BASSETT – One man was gunned down, another escaped injury after an unknown suspect opened fire outside a strip club Thursday morning. Industry Station deputies responded to the shooting at 2:20 a.m. They arrived and found one man outside the location, 13217 Valley Blvd., unresponsive and suffering from at least one gunshot wound. “The suspect drove his vehicle alongside two victims. The suspect exited the vehicle and fired multiple rounds at the victims,” according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The victim died at the scene. No suspect or vehicle description is available. Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Information can be provided anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). The shooting took place in the 13200 block of Valley Boulevard at 2:22 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The victim died at the scene.
While the precise location was no yet given, the shooting may have taken place at or near Bliss Showgirls, 13217 Valley Boulevard, according to a CityWatch reader who works in the area. A suspect is not known at this time. |
