Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau initially stated that only one victim, a man, was found at the scene of the crime in the 13000 block of Valley Boulevard, February 23. A 51-year-old man was taken to an area hospital where he later died. It was also initially stated that the man died at the scene, but that apparently was incorrectly stated by deputies. The woman’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, deputies said. There is no suspect information. A Hipanic man in his 20s was killed. He has not been publicly identified yet, pending notification of next of kin, according to Sarah Ardalani of the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. The pedestrian was struck on a bridge that crossed a flood control channel north of Feather Avenue around 7 p.m. November 21. He died at the scene, according to Metrolink.
San Bernardino-bound train 330 proceeded to the Baldwin Park Metrolink Station after the engineer determined a person was hit, Metrolink said. Five other trains were affected while service was stopped. Industry Station deputies responded to the shooting at 2:20 a.m. They arrived and found one man outside the location, 13217 Valley Blvd., unresponsive and suffering from at least one gunshot wound. “The suspect drove his vehicle alongside two victims. The suspect exited the vehicle and fired multiple rounds at the victims,” according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
