The situation is unfolding on North Glen Arden Drive in Charter Oak, north on East Covina Boulevard. The woman claimed to be armed with a shotgun and deputies reported hearing her rack the shotgun, according to Sheriff’s radio traffic. The woman is apparently mentally disturbed, claiming people were poisoning her and her cats. She is screaming at someone on the phone, deputies said.
