The shooting occurred just before 11 p.m. in the 18700 block of East Petunia Street May 31. Investigating deputies were unable to coax any other information out of the people affected by the shooting as they seemed somewhat uncooperative, according to Sgt. Wong of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Station. Wong did not immediately know exactly how many rounds were fired. Wong does not believe any surrounding vehicles or homes were struck by any stray bullets. No injuries were reported. There was no suspect or vehicle description available. The shooting took place on East Fondale Street near Glenfinnan Avenue in the unincorporated community of Citrus May 29. Firefighters were dispatched to the location at 11:16 p.m. The victim seemed to be uncooperative with investigators who arrived to the scene. The location of the shooting is allegedly known for gang activity, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s radio traffic. No other details were available Sunday morning. A sergeant with the San Dimas Sheriff’s Station stated to SGV CityWatch that the investigation was being handled by the Sheriff’s Industry Station. The Industry Station day shift supervisor was unaware if the investigation was being handled by his detectives, but stated that the station’s Operation Safe Streets bureau could possibly have taken the investigation. Deputies were called at 1:35 a.m. to the 18200 block of Renwick Road in unincorporated Azusa by a resident who discovered the victim in the resident’s yard, according to Sgt. Pete Shupe of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Sheriff’s Station. Deputies believe the victim was shot elsewhere, due to the lack of spent shell casings in the surrounding area and because the victim’s wounds did not appear to be too fresh, Shupe said. “He was shot twice. Once in the abdomen and once in his left wrist. He was transported to a local hospital,” Shupe said. The victim is refusing to provide deputies any information regarding the shooting or a suspect, Shupe said. A suspect or vehicle description was not available. The shooting took place near North Calera Avenue and East Glen Lyn Drive around 10:10 p.m. A suspect was witnessed fleeing on foot northbound from the area, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Station. The suspect fired from a 9 millimeter handgun, deputies said. As of 1 p.m. September 1, there were no reported injuries and no one has been arrested. The suspect was only described as a male in a black hoodie. The shooting was reported at 7:30 p.m. at East Kirkwall Road and North Rockvale Avenue June 6. The victim was traveling north on Rockvale Avenue. The male suspect fired one round from a handgun as the drivers passed each other, according to Lt. MacKenzie of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Station.

San Dimas deputies were initially called, not to the sound of gunfire, but to an injured victim in the 18000 block of Newburgh Street June 1 around 11:15 p.m. The victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. There is no suspect description and the murder weapon is outstanding.
