CITRUS - One person was taken to a trauma center after being injured in a possible solo collision Saturday night.

A white Kia crashed into a pickup truck at North Galanto Avenue and East Mauna Loa Avenue around 8:52 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Kia overturned and the driver was able to extricate before firefighters arrived, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department radio traffic.

The driver was taken to an area hospital. No one else was injured, according to a dispatch supervisor for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The CHP is investigating.
