Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor CITRUS - Two men approached a woman who just arrived home and robbed her at gunpoint Saturday afternoon, a Sheriff’s lieutenant said. The robbery occurred in the 5700 block of Treymore Avenue in Citrus, an unincorporated community near Azusa.
Deputies were called around 4:56 p.m. to the robbery. The suspects took the victim’s purse at gunpoint as she exited her vehicle after she arrived home, according to Lt. Mackenzie of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Station. The victim was uninjured. The suspects, only described as Black men in their 20s wearing dark clothing, fled in a vehicle westbound.
