Francis Gil Cruz, 36, died from blunt force injuries. His death was ruled a suicide. First responders were sent to Cloverleaf Drive under the 605 freeway overpass just after 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatches. Cruz died at the scene. An image shared by a CityWatch reader showed traffic on Cloverleaf under the 605 freeway blocked by crime scene tape and law enforcement speaking with possible witnesses. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor CITY OF INDUSTRY - A pedestrian either jumped, or accidentally fell from the 605 freeway onto a public street Tuesday afternoon.
First responders were sent to Cloverleaf Drive under the 605 freeway overpass just after 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatches. The pedestrian died at the scene, according to Sgt. Del Valle of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. Del Valle did not know the circumstances that led to the death. No one else was involved. An image shared by a CityWatch reader showed traffic on Cloverleaf under the 605 freeway blocked by crime scene tape and law enforcement speaking with possible witnesses. The pedestrian’s identity has not yet been publicly shared. |
