Shooting Investigation Underway in Industry

UPDATE: 12:32 p.m.: Homicide Detectives have confirmed one male adult died from a gunshot wound in the 18600 block of Gale Avenue.

INDUSTRY - Deputies are investigating a reported shooting that took place at a business complex in City of Industry Monday morning.

Very little information is available but first responders were sent to the 18600 block of Gale Avenue around 8:49 a.m. Monday, July 15.

Firefighters were dispatched to the location for a gunshot victim, but Craig Little of the Los Angeles County Fire Department does not know how many victims were shot or if anyone was transported or died at the scene.

Sgt. Miguel Jimenez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station declined to provide specific details. He did not know yet if Homicide Detectives will be handling the investigation.
