Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor CLAREMONT - A man survived his wounds after being stabbed in the neck during a fight with two men he just met. Officers responded to Indian Hill Boulevard at Mt. Carmel Drive at 12:17 a.m. April 4 to an assault with a deadly weapon report. The victim was found bleeding profusely from the neck, according to the Claremont Police Department. “the victim advised that he had just met the suspects and they were hanging out inside of their vehicle. While inside of the vehicle, a fight erupted and the victim was assaulted, which led to his injuries,” Claremont Police said in a written statement. The victim said the suspects were still nearby and after a search of the area, officers located and detained both suspects inside a vehicle.
Police found evidence on the suspects and inside the vehicle to corroborate the victim’s claims, Claremont Police said. Francisco Ibarra, a 20-year-old Pomona man and 20-year-old Oceanside resident Ezekiel Hensley. Both men are being held in lieu of $30,000 bail ahead of a scheduled appearance in court April 7. |
