CityWatch Editor COVINA - Investigators are determining the cause of death for a man found dead in a vehicle Sunday. The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was in the driver’s seat in a shopping center parking lot in the 400 block of South Citrus Avenue March 1. First responders were called around 12:47 p.m. The man, said to be in his 60s, was there long enough for some decomposition to occur, according to Lt. David Rodriguez of the Covina Police Department. An odor wafting from the vehicle likely drew attention to it. There were no obvious signs of foul play. ********** Copyright 2025.
