Firefighters have requested arson investigators to determine the cause, which may stem from a homeless encampment. DIAMOND BAR - A full brush fire response is descending on Diamond Bar after a small brush fire is burning uphill. The fire was initially spotted by a passing police helicopter in the 1300 block of Glenthorpe Drive. One-half acre is burning uphill behind some residences. A water-dropping helicopter is en route to assist, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department and Sheriff’s radio traffic. There homes above the fire on a hill. Firefighters are determining if they will be in harm's way. |
