Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor DIAMOND BAR - Homicide investigators are attempting to locate the 33-year-old son of the couple found dead inside a burning home Friday.
Homicide detectives are looking for Ryan Venti, son of 66-year-old Linda Venti and 75-year-old John Venti. The couple were found deceased in the downstairs bedroom of their two-story house early Friday. The fire at the home in the 3600 block of Crooked Creek Drive, also killed a dog. Ryan Venti is not a suspect in the suspicious fire, Sheriff’s homicide detectives said. “At this time it appears that the fire may have been intentionally set. Due to the suspicious nature of the fire and the fact that Ryan Venti appears to [be] missing and has not returned to the house, Detectives are actively looking for him, so that they can speak with him in an attempt at determining what occurred at the residence,” according to Deputy Joanna Warren of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. Anyone who knows Ryan Venti’s whereabouts is urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Information can be provided anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). |
