DUARTE – A suspect fled in a silver Hyundai four-door sedan September 25 after stabbing his victim in the abdomen during an argument at a 7-Eleven.
Both victim and suspect began arguing at the convenience store, 2705 Huntington Drive. An employee told both victim and suspect to leave, at which point the victim told the suspect “I’ll meet you outside,” according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station.
“Once both parties were outside, the victim approached the other party, when he produced a knife and was stabbed in the abdomen,” according to the Sheriff’s Temple Station in a written statement.
Surveillance video apparently caught the incident. It is unclear if any arrests were made.
