Condition Unknown After Person Shot in East Pasadena

EAST PASADENA - One person was taken to an area hospital Wednesday after being shot in the 3600 block of Grayburn Road.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking drivers to avoid Rosemead Boulevard from Huntington Drive to Del Mar Avenue.

Deputies with the Sheriff’s Temple Station were called to the area to investigate a reported burglary.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 3:29 p.m.

It is unclear who was shot or who pulled the trigger.
