Donna Emery, 55, was the woman found dead at Finkbiner Park, 160 N. Wabash Ave. May 23. Her cause of death was deferred, pending additional investigation, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Police and firefighters were called to the park at 1:08 p.m. It was not immediately clear where the death occurred at the park, or what led Glendora Police officers to quickly deduce that it was a suicide. Police were called to Finkbiner Park, 160 N. Wabash Ave., on a reported suicide at 1:08 p.m. A deceased female was located. The area was taped off from the public for coroner investigators to work, according to the Glendora Police Department. The woman was described as being in her 50s. Her identity is being withheld until next of kin are notified, according to Sarah Ardalani, public information officer with the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. It was not immediately clear where the death occurred at the park, or what led Glendora Police officers to quickly deduce that it was a suicide. The identity of the female subject will be withheld pending notification to the family. “The month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
