The suspects in a white Toyota Corolla evaded officers on several freeways east to the Chino/Ontario border where the suspects crashed and fled on foot. The California Highway Patrol, Ontario Police and a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s helicopter helped Glendora find and arrest Long Beach men Johnnie Brown, 28, and Roger Kirksey, 19. Police still seek a third suspect, 20-year-old Devon Gulley of Long Beach. “Investigation tied the suspects to an additional pharmacy burglary in a nearby city and an attempted restaurant burglary in Glendora,” according to Glendora Police. “It is believed they are responsible for additional burglaries in the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire.”
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed felony charges against all three men, including reckless evading, commercial burglary, attempted commercial burglary, and vandalism. Anyone with information on the case, or who may know Gulley’s whereabouts is urged to call Glendora Police Detective Johnathon Salinas at 626-914-8285. He can be emailed at jsalinas@glendorapd.org.
