Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor HACIENDA HEIGHTS - Detectives are continuing their search for the trigger man who killed a 20-something victim June 28. Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station responding to a gunfire call around 12:38 a.m. were soon told of a man down. Deputies found him laying on the side of the road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The man was found on Turnbull Canyon Road south of Northview Terrace.
The victim, only described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, died at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso. There is apparently no suspect information available. Anyone who can help with the investigation is urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
