HACIENDA HEIGHTS - Two armed men took off with cash and video equipment after forcing their way into a home Monday morning.
The robbery unfolded around 1 a.m. September 9 in the 2700 block of Kiska Avenue when two men approached the home and forced their way in after the resident answered the door, according to Lt. James Long of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
The resident, a man in his 60s, was uninjured.
One suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds; the other a possible Hispanic or Vietnamese man around 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 pounds.
Both suspects were seen fleeing south on Stimson Avenue from the home in an unknown vehicle, Long said.
