Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE - Deputies searching for a man suspected in two separate weapon brandishing incidents apprehended a suspect November 6 who was reportedly found with narcotics and a weapon in his vehicle. The unidentified suspect is believed to have brandished a weapon in the area of Berkshire Place and Berkshire Avenue Tuesday, November 5. One day later, a similar suspect brandished a weapon in a fast food restaurant in the 400 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Crescenta Valley station.
A La Cañada Flintridge community service officer spotted a vehicle similar to that driven by the suspect, discovered in the upper parking lot of Hahamonga Park near foothill Boulevard and Oak Grove Drive. Deputies safely detained the suspect at Hahamonga Park and are working to establish a connection between the previous weapon brandishing incidents. |
