LA PUENTE - The victim of a shooting wound up in the hospital Monday night and deputies are searching for the gunman.
A Hispanic man in his late 20s received as many as four gunshot wounds And was possibly taken to the hospital by a friend or family member January 4, according to Sgt. Molina of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
Deputies were informed of the shooting around 8:30 p.m. Being told that the shooting occurred in the area of East Amar Road and Echelon Avenue, they descended to the location to search for evidence of the shooting. Deputies did not find spent shell casings, but did locate some blood at the scene, Molina told SGV CityWatch.
The victim was uncooperative with deputies. A suspect description was unavailable, Molina told SGV CityWatch.
