The two men were caught on surveillance camera withdrawing funds from the victim’s account in eight transactions between September 5 and September 12 -- five at a San Dimas Bank of America and three at a Glendora Bank of America, La Verne Police said. Then men are unknown to the victim. The suspects were captured on camera driving to each location in a newer grey Infiniti Q50 4dr with paper plates from Keys Cars in Van Nuys. Sandra Gilmore, 65, left her home in the 2500 block of Bay Berry Street after telling her caretaker she would return home, according to the La Verne Police Department. Gilmore requires medication. Gilmore stands 6 feet tall, weighs 260 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and uses a red walker to move around. She was last seen wearing a USC sweater and burgundy pants. She goes by the name “Mrs. Smith.” Anyone with information on Gilmore’s whereabouts is urged to call La Verne Police at 909-596-1913. Felipe Renteria, 31, was taken into custody after a nearly six-hour standoff inside the mobile home where he threatened his son and father, according to the La Verne Police Department. Renteria is accused of threatening to stab both his father and son to death after an argument inside the trailer, located in a mobile home park at 2717 Arrow Hwy. December 20. “The father and son managed to hide in a bedroom and call police,” according to the La Verne Police Department in a written statement. Police arrived and helped the father and son escape through a window with the use of a ladder, La Verne Police said. Renteria barricaded himself in the mobile home after briefly exiting, only to see police positioned outside. Surrounding mobile homes were evacuated as a precaution. The men took an unspecified amount of the toothbrushes from displays and fled through a rear emergency exit from Target, 2462 Foothill Blvd, November 12. The men fled in a waiting Honda Accord, according to the La Verne Police Department. The suspects committed a similar theft along with two female accomplices at the same Target in October, La Verne Police said. Both suspects are described as Hispanic men. One suspect is 25 to 30 years old, stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, sports a goatee and long hair in a ponytail. The second suspect is 40 to 45 years old, stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. The men fled in a 1996 or 1997 tan Honda Accord.
