​Nitrous Oxide, Alcohol Possibly Behind Injury Crash in Monterey Park Sunday

MONTEREY PARK - A driver and passenger received moderate injuries Sunday after the vehicle they were in rolled over.

The crash occurred at Casuda Canyon Drive and Garvey Avenue around 1:16 a.m. Alhambra and Monterey Park Police both responded.

Witnesses reported the vehicle rolled multiple times before resting on its roof. Officers arrived and found one person trapped in the vehicle. One person had climbed out and was walking around, according to the Alhambra Police Department.

“Officers found evidence at the scene leading them to believe that alcohol and nitrous oxide may have been involved,” Alhambra Police.

Monterey Park Police are investigating the crash.
