The three men were stopped by an officer for a traffic violation at Crest Vista Drive and Brightwood Street around 10:30 a.m. A separate home burglary investigation was being conducted nearby in the 1200 block of West Crest Vista Drive, Monterey Park Police said in a written statement. “The officer located evidence at the scene of the burglary that linked the three occupants of the vehicle stopped at Crest Vista and Brightwood to the residential burglary,” Monterey Park Police said. After further investigation, Tony Dieson Johnson, 23, Jerry Ronnie Green, 27 and Antonio Maurice Sutton, 19, were all booked on suspicion of burglary. All three men have prior burglary arrests, Monterey Park Police said. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed burglary charges against all three men August 9 and all three men have since appeared in Alhambra Superior Court. |
