Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor PASADENA - Two men took off in a woman’s 2015 dark grey Honda CRV after distracting her and physically pulling her out of her vehicle, police said. The incident unfolded just before 12:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Locust Street March 30. Two men approached the woman and walked into the street as she was driving home and pointed to her front bumper as if to warn her of something, according to Lt. Marcia Taglioretti of the Pasadena Police Department. The woman leaned out of her CRV to see what the problem could be and one suspect pulled out a firearm, Taglioretti said. “The suspect pointed it at the victim and told her to get out,” Taglioretti said. “The second suspect went around the passenger side and got in. The suspect with the gun pulled the victim away from the vehicle.”
The suspect drove away with the victim’s CRV. The victim was uninjured, Taglioretti said. The suspects were Black men in their early 20s. One suspect stood around 6 feet tall, weighed 180 pounds, is clean shaven, has short black hair and wore a black long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect also stood around 6 feet tall, weighs 190 pounds, has short black hair, is clean shaven and wore blue jeans and tennis shoes. The CRV license plate is 7JWG441.
