MOUNTAINS - A vehicle has crashed over the side of Glendora Mountain Road and has ignited about a one-quarter acre brush fire.
The collision was reported just after 5 p.m. at Glendora Mountain Road west of Glendora Ridge Road July 15. The vehicle crashed 100 feet over the side and became fully engulfed, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
The fire is moving uphill with a moderate rate of spread. The U.S. Forest Service has initiated a full brush response complete with aircraft.
Tactical medics with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau are treating the driver for unspecified injuries.
