Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor ROSEMEAD - A reported burglary suspect fleeing a deputy has been detained after crashing into a car. The suspect was hiding in a yard in the 7900 block of Emerson Place. He fled deputies on foot for several blocks before they found him at the dead end of Whitmore Street west of San Gabriel Boulevard at 12:05 p.m., according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s radio traffic. Deputies are requesting medics for the suspect detained in the 8000 block of Whitmore Street. Details are few, but the man detained is described as a burglary suspect.
A woman and child were occupying the vehicle the suspect hit. Firefighters are on scene treating the patients, deputies said. No further information is available. |
