Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor ROSEMEAD - Four handguns and ammunition were seized March 13 after deputies arrested a man accused of committing assault with a deadly weapon and other felony charges stemming from a shooting.
Deputies were called to the 3000 block of Garvey Avenue on a report of gunfire heard inside of a residence around 2:30 p.m. The property was surrounded and the suspect emerged and was taken into custody, according to Sgt. Liu of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. Inside the residence, multiple bullet holes were found throughout the property, Liu told SGV CityWatch. The suspect was only described as being in his 60s. No one was injured, Liu told SGV CityWatch. |
