ROWLAND HEIGHTS - The county coroner identified a woman who died outside a Rowland Heights shopping complex Monday.
Firefighters and deputies responded to the 18900 block of Daisetta Street just before 8:30 a.m. March 23 for an unspecified medical emergency. The woman was declared dead at the scene.
The victim is 47-year-old Maioxian Liu of Rowland Heights, according to Lt. Larry Dietz of the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. A cause of death has yet to be determined. An autopsy has not yet been performed.
A Sheriffs Walnut/Diamond Bar Station supervisor deferred questions regarding the death to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau. The detective handling the investigation has yet to return a request for information.
