CityWatch Editor ROWLAND HEIGHTS - Detectives are searching for the shooter who murdered a man in a Rowland Heights neighborhood Tuesday night. Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Diamond Bar/Walnut Station were called to the 2500 block of Doubletree Lane in Rowland Heights around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 21. Deputies were told there was a gunshot victim at the location and one was found, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The victim, who has not yet been publicly identified, was shot through the neck. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics declared the man dead at the scene. The suspect is apparently unknown. Anyone with information on this shooting is urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
