Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle in Rowland Heights

ROWLAND HEIGHTS - A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian near a Rowland Heights intersection Wednesday.

Little information is available regarding the fatal crash that occurred around 4:39 p.m. August 26. A white Tesla was stopped at the scene, but it is not immediately clear if it was the vehicle that struck the pedestrian, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Delos Reyes.

A CityWatch reader drove by the scene, which was cordoned off with yellow crime scene tape around 6 p.m. CHP officers talked with two young adults who sat on a nearby curb. The body rested on the asphalt, covered by a yellow tarp.

Nothing about the pedestrian is publicly known.
