SAN DIMAS - A Pomona man was arrested late Wednesday night, accused of slamming his Ford truck into a stalled sedan and causing fatal injuries.
David Busby, 56, was traveling south on the 57 freeway past Arrow Highway in the No. 2 lane just before 10 p.m. June 19. He slammed his 2016 Ford Transit 250 into a stalled 2012 Hyundai Elantra, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The occupied Elantra was stalled in the No. 1 and 2 lanes when it was hit.
A Sig Alert for the No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes from 10:19 p.m. to 1:16 a.m.
The 33-year-old female driver of the Elantra has yet to be identified.
Busby was booked at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Station and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail, according to county booking records.
