SAN DIMAS - A man struck on the head and hand with a metal bat refused treatment after being attacked Saturday.
The man was hit from behind by a suspect wielding a metal baseball or softball bat outside 7-Eleven, 845 W. Arrow Highway, around. The man is somewhat uncooperative with deputies, according to Lt. Ed MacKenzie of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s San Dimas Station.
The attack occurred around 9 p.m. February 8.
The victim described the suspect as being a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s. He fled in a silver vehicle, possibly a Volkswagen SUV.
The motive for the attack is unclear.
