Written by AARON CASTREJON | CityWatch Editor SAN MARINO - Two home burglaries occurred over a two-day span with suspects breaking their way in by shattering a glass door and window, police said. The first burglary occurred Thursday, April 19 around 7:50 a.m. in the 1700 block of Hilliard Drive. A resident heard the sound of shattering glass and discovered a female suspect who fled after being confronted, San Marino Police said. The suspect wore a baseball hat, dark glasses, a black bandana and unknown color pants and shirt. The next day at 10:20 a.m., police responded to a burglary alarm in the 700 block of Canterbury Road. Officers discovered a shattered rear window and rear door forced open. Officers were unable to locate any suspects, San Marino Police said. One suspect wore a green hoodie with a “Cal” logo on the front, dark pants, dark shoes and white socks. The second suspect wore a green hoodie, dark pants, dark shoes and white socks.
