SOUTH PASADENA – A Police Assistant set to begin a new career as a police dispatcher died of Covid-19 complication January 16.
Bayron Salguero, 30, died Saturday of complications due to contracting Coronavirus. Salguero completed a dispatch training program and was scheduled to begin his shift next week, according to the Pasadena Police Department.
“Though he was with us for only a short time, he quickly became a part of our family. He had a great attitude and was admired by everyone for his work ethic and willingness to learn,” according to the South Pasadena Police Department.
