The attack occurred just after 9 p.m. at the Foothill Transit bus stop at Azusa Avenue and Gemini Street. The suspect hit the pedestrian, who fell unconscious, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station crime broadcast. A passerby witnessed the attack. The suspect, a Hispanic man, 24 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, in black shorts and a black shirt fled eastbound on Gemini Street. The suspect used an unknown object to hit the pedestrian. It is unclear if the two know each other. |
