Barricade Operation Continues Near City of Industry

SOUTH SAN JOSE HILLS - Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau are continuing to work a potential barricaded suspect Monday morning.

The operation continues in the 18200 block of Renault Street, according to a Sergeant at the Sheriff’s Industry Station.

The barricade began late Sunday around 11 p.m.

Assisting the Special Enforcement Bureau is a crisis negotiation team. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

It is not immediately clear what sparked the barricade.
