Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor SOUTH SAN JOSE HILLS - One student suffered injuries considered not life-threatening after being stabbed in the abdomen at Nogales High School Monday morning.
A student accused of committing the stabbing is in custody, according to Sgt. Del Valle of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. First responders were sent to Nogales high school, 401 S. Nogales Ave., just before 10 AM February 26. Some deputies remain on campus for the investigation, Del Valle told SGV CityWatch. It is not yet publicly clear what the motive was for the stabbing. Del Valle was unsure of exactly where the stabbing happened on campus. The shooting took place around 9:46 a.m. in the 18600 block of Villa Park Street. The victim, initially described as an adult male, reportedly died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. No other information is available.
