Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor TEMPLE CITY - One male suffered a gunshot wound considered not life-threatening after at least two robbers entered a home and zip-tied two occupants early Sunday morning.
Deputies were called to the home in the 9700 block of Longden Avenue around 4:30 a.m. August 28. Money was taken from the home, according to Lt. Van Hoosen of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. An infant was also inside the home during the robbery, Van Hoosen told SGV CityWatch. Investigators are determining how the suspects entered the home. Descriptions of the suspects were not available. A description of a getaway vehicle was also unavailable. Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor TEMPLE CITY - A man was taken into custody after attempting to rob a Chase bank Monday afternoon. Details are few, but Sgt. Loera of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station said deputies responded to Chase Bank, 8905 E. Las Tunas Dr., at 1:08 p.m. December 9. A suspect, only described as a white male, was detained by Sheriff’s deputies outside the bank and eventually arrested. Loera declined to state how the suspect approached bank employees and if he was armed when detained. The resident called 9-1-1 after the men fled around 8:30 p.m. in the 6000 block of Kauffman Avenue. The suspects fled in an unknown direction, according to Sgt. Klinski of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Temple Station. Klinksi did not know how the suspects entered. In a Sheriff’s crime broadcast, the suspects were described as Black men, all 5 feet 9 inches tall, between 140 pounds to 200 pounds. All three wore black clothing and covered their faces with black ski masks. One man was armed with a golf club. |
