Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor TEMPLE CITY – A victim was reportedly stabbed in the neck and head during an assault Wednesday night, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
An unknown weapon was used during the assault at the southeast corner of Broadway and Rosemead Boulevard just before 7 p.m. October 19. The suspect, a Latino man, 30 to 40 years old, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build and wearing a white tank top, fled into a waiting red SUV driven by a Latino woman. The SUV was seen being driven south on Rosemead Boulevard. The extent of injuries was not immediately known. It is not immediately clear if the suspect was identified and/or arrested. Deputies with the Sheriff’s Temple Station were called to a reported stabbing victim just before 11 p.m. September 7 and found the victim suffering from multiple wounds. He was hospitalized and later pronounced dead, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. A second man, brother of the first victim, was also found with multiple stab wounds. He is being treated for his injuries. The stabbing occurred in the 4800 block of Fiesta Avenue. The Sheriff’s Information Bureau initially stated a man was in custody, but did not elaborate his possible relation to the men stabbed.
