The man was shot in the 1800 block of Aileron Avenue around 10 a.m. September 30. The suspects fled in a black older model two-door Mercedes, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department crime broadcast. The victim was shot in one of his arms. He was treated and eventually released, according to Lt. Geary of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The Mercedes had tinted windows and chrome rims. The passenger is the apparent gunman. He exited the vehicle and opened fire, according to the crime broadcast. The passenger was described as a Latino man 25 to 30 years old, stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, has a medium build and wore a blue ling-sleeve shirt with an unknown white emblem on it. The Mercedes was last seen being driven south on Aileron towards Francisquito Avenue. Witnesses reported that a gunman in a vehicle pulled up to the vigil outside of the 15500 block of Fellowship Street and fired as many as 10 rounds near or at the crowd. There was no one hit and deputies found no objects that were struck, according to Sgt. Torres of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. First responders were sent to the location around 9:19 p.m. Sunday, July 2. Felipe Juarez, identified as the operator of the memes page lapuente626sgv, erroneously stated a person was struck by gunfire. The Los Angeles County Fire Department stated that their response to a possible gunshot victim was canceled before engines even arrived on scene. Roughly 15 minutes later, deputies located a vehicle believed tied to the July 2 shooting at Hacienda Boulevard and Francisquito Avenue and detained both occupants, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department radio traffic. At least one of the people was arrested, but Torres did not immediately know the status of the person who was taken into custody. The woman was found shot in the 15500 block of Fellowship Street in unincorporated Valinda July 1. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives state the incident occurred around 6:07 a.m., but Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatch reports show firefighters were called at 6:57 a.m. The woman is reportedly the victim of a drive-by shooting, having been shot while outside a residence. The incident is likely gang related, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The woman was taken to a hospital before deputies arrived to the scene. Deputies found evidence of a shooting near the above-mentioned intersection after authorities were called to an initial report of two gunshot victims who wound up at a gas station at East Amar Road and North Hacienda Boulevard. Los Angeles County firefighters and Sheriff’s deputies were called to Amar and Hacienda. “They weren’t actually shot, fortunately,” according to Lt. Bernal of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station, adding that one person was cut by flying glass after gunfire erupted. Firefighters were dispatched to Amar and Hacienda around 12:11 a.m. A white older-model truck was seen fleeing Hayland and Greycliff after the shooting. The man was found lifeless on the bench on the Northeast corner of Hacienda Boulevard and Francisquito Avenue September 4, according to Lt. Lim of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. Firefighters were dispatched at 12:38 p.m. and arrived at 12:44 p.m. Two minutes later, firefighters declared the man dead, according to Franklin Lopez, Los Angeles County Fire Department representative. There was no immediate sign of foul play and no apparent sign of trauma, Lim told SGV CityWatch. The coroner will determine cause of death. The fire burned in the 16400 block of East Doublegrove Street at 10:31 p.m. August 31. Firefighters arrived and reported flames burning outside a single-story, single-family home with fire entering the structure, according to Dispatch Supervisor Imogene McBride of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Firefighters remained on scene for more than two hours. No injuries were reported, McBride told SGV CityWatch. The fire burned in the 1200 block of North Aileron Avenue around 5:11 p.m. in a single-story home June 17. The conditions of the victims and the extent of damage was not immediately known.

VALINDA - One person suffered unknown injuries after a fire destroyed a garage Friday morning.
The fire was reported at 8:55 a.m. at 16119 Francisquito Avenue. Firefighters arrived six minutes later to battle the flames, according to a representative with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The one-acre property houses a horse stable, but no animals were injured. It is unclear if the person injured in the fire is a civilian, deputy or firefighter. The extent of injuries is unknown. The patient was transported just before 10 a.m. Several fire investigators have been called to determine the fire’s source.
