Written by AARON CASTREJON CityWatch Editor VALINDA - Possible road rage led to a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting at Hacienda Boulevard and Francisquito Avenue Sunday evening. At least one suspect in a grey four-door Honda Accord opened fire at another vehicle around 5:20 p.m. The rear window of the vehicle was shattered, according to Lt. James Long of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station. The road rage may have started in West Covina. The driver and passenger in the Accord followed the driver of a black Scion before gunfire occurred, Long told SGV CityWatch. The Accord fled the scene. The shooting is initially not believed t o be gang-related, Long told SGV CityWatch. The collision was reported just after 9 p.m. near Amar Road and Echelon Avenue. The driver stopped at the scene, according to Lt. James Long of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station.
Long only described the pedestrian’s condition as very serious. The collision is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Office.
